With a porous defense, Buccaneers are facing another lackluster season

East Tennessee State Buccaneers


2012-13: 10-22 (8-10)
In-conference offense: 1.02 points per possession (6th)
In-conference defense: 1.09 points per possession (10th)

East Tennessee State has long been a fixture near the top of the Atlantic Sun standings under head coach Murry Bartow, but that wasn't the case in 2012-13. Last season, the Buccaneers posted their first losing record in conference play and overall since 2005, as the team rebuilt with a young roster that averaged just 1.19 years of experience (305th nationally).
