Miami (OH) RedHawks

2012-13: 9-22 (3-13 MAC); lost to E. Michigan 58-47, MAC second round
In-conference offense: 0.95 points per possession (11th)
In-conference defense: 1.07 points allowed per possession (11th)

John Cooper had a rough time in his first season as head coach of the Redhawks. After starting off conference play 2-1, Miami only won one more regular season game. That included a stretch of losing every game for more than a month. The season didn't end so badly, as the Redhawks won their first game in the MAC tournament, going 9-20 from long range, before bowing out quietly in the second round.
