Central Michigan Chippewas

2012-13: 11-20 (4-12 MAC); lost to Buffalo 74-72 (OT), MAC first round
In-conference offense: 1.02 points per possession (6th)
In-conference defense: 1.10 points allowed per possession (12th)

The Chippewas had the worst defense in the MAC last season by a large margin. Central Michigan's defense was nearly four points worse per 100 possessions than what No. 11 Miami (OH) recorded. MAC opponents hurt CMU from everywhere on the floor, shooting 39 percent from 3-point range and 53 percent on 2s. The Chippewa D was also foul-prone and couldn't rebound.
