Preview: UC Riverside
Highlanders must improve offensive efficiency and overall defense
2012-13: 6-25 (3-15)
In-conference offense: 0.94 points per possession (10th)
In-conference defense: 1.06 points per possession (6th)
As expected, UC Riverside had another tough season in 2012-13, and to say the Highlanders struggled on offense is generous. UCR scored just 0.94 points per possession in Big West action, which, amazingly, represented an improvement from the season before. To go along with that, Jim Wooldridge's team actually regressed defensively. The end result of all of the above was a 3-15 in-conference campaign.
