Virginia Military Institute Keydets

2012-13: 14-17 (8-8)
In-conference offense: 1.08 points per possession (3rd)
In-conference defense: 1.07 points allowed per possession (10th)

Now entering his ninth season, VMI head coach Duggar Baucom has been nothing if not consistent. Every season, his Keydets run and gun their way to one of the nation's top scoring offenses, at least as measured by points per game. VMI hoists 3s almost indiscriminately, which leads to a nice svelte turnover rate and one of the nation's fastest tempos. That's all good, and it's actually hard to find fault with the offensive results. Baucom's team has finished with an above-average Big South offense in six of his eight seasons.
