Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs

2012-13: 21-13 (11-5)
In-conference offense: 1.05 points per possession (6th)
In-conference defense: 0.99 points allowed per possession (4th)

Former head coach Chris Holtmann, who had done a very nice job in his three seasons at Gardner-Webb, has now moved on to an assistant job at Butler. Taking his place is Tim Craft, a 36-year-old who spent the past three seasons as an assistant at East Carolina. Awaiting Craft is a bit of a rebuilding job, as three important players are gone from last season's surprising team. Helping to fill the void will be Texas A&M transfer Naji Hibbert, a former top recruit who has never quite put it all together.
