Preview: Charleston Southern
The Buccaneers are favorite to win the Big South Conference in 2013-14
2012-13: 19-13 (12-4)
In-conference offense: 1.09 points per possession (2nd)
In-conference defense: 0.98 points allowed per possession (2nd)
Coach Barclay Radebaugh is on a roll. Fresh off the Buccaneers' first conference title since 1987, Radebaugh signed a long-term contract extension, and he now needs only 15 wins to become the program's all-time winningest coach. Those 15 victories should be eminently attainable, even though you can again expect Charleston Southern to be among the shortest teams in the nation. The Buccaneers will spread things out and attempt plenty of 3s, which is quite effective when you can convert at a 37 percent clip against your league opponents.
