Campbell Fighting Camels

2012-13: 13-20 (7-9, Big South)
In-conference offense: 1.01 points per possession (8th)
In-conference defense: 1.05 points allowed per possession (8th)

After a disappointing 2012-13, Campbell decided to part ways with coach Robbie Laing. While the loss of leading scorer Darren White to injury after just 11 games played a part in the lackluster results, it was the poor defense played by the Fighting Camels that ultimately led to Laing's departure. This permissiveness was nothing new, as Campbell had grown successively worse on the defensive end in each of the past three seasons. Now taking the helm is 39-year-old Kevin McGeehan, who spent the past five seasons as Chris Mooney's associate head coach at Richmond.
