2013-14 Preview: Bucknell Bison
Bison face challenge of having to fill void of three key seniors
2012-13: 28-6 (12-2 Patriot League)
In-conference offense: 1.06 points per possession (4th)
In-conference defense: 0.90 points allowed per possession (1st)
Bucknell reached the NCAA tournament for the second time in three seasons in 2012-2013, largely thanks to mammoth contributions from center Mike Muscala and vastly underrated performances from fellow seniors Joe Willman and Bryson Johnson. The season extended coach David Paulsen's streak of four campaigns at .500 or better in Patriot League play. The continuity Bucknell enjoyed for the duration of Muscala's career, however, is now gone, replaced by a roster featuring two returning starters and little proven frontcourt depth.
