2013-14 Preview: UNC-Wilmington
Seahawks likely to remain near bottom of league standings this season
2012-13: 10-20 (5-13)
In-conference offense: 0.99 points per possession (9th)
In-conference defense: 1.09 points per possession (10th)
UNC-Wilmington has won a total of just 33 games in the first three seasons of Buzz Peterson's tenure, and that has the coach thinking it's time for a change in philosophy. The Seahawks were led for the past two seasons by 6-foot-8 forward Keith Rendleman, who was among the best players in the CAA. Unfortunately for UNCW, that interior-focused attack didn't result in many wins, and the squad's best players are guards.
