In-conference defense: 0.93 points allowed per possession (2nd)
Sam Houston State is heavy on seniors at the moment -- seven of the 13 players on the roster are in their final season -- so the team's performance is at risk of falling off a cliff in 2014-15. For the upcoming season, however, head coach Jason Hooten's goal will be to make that cliff as high as possible.
