Rebuilding Bears likely to struggle after losing several key players
2012-13: 13-17 (7-11)
In-conference offense: 0.99 points per possession (5th)
In-conference defense: 1.06 points allowed per possession (9th)
Last season, head coach Corliss Williamson, who left for an assistant coaching job with the Sacramento Kings in August, oversaw a markedly improved team. The Bears won 13 games, which was as many as they won in Williamson's first two seasons combined. A big reason for that improvement was the development of Jordan Harks, who became a shot-making machine last year, boosting his 2-point field goal percentage from 47 to 59. But the native Illinoisan opted to transfer to the University of Illinois-Chicago, where he will be immediately eligible.
