Creighton BluejaysDave Weaver/USA TODAY SportsCreighton, led by Doug McDermott (right), boasts one of the nation's most prolific offenses.

Each week during the college basketball season, ESPN Insiders Jay Bilas and Jeff Goodman will weigh in on the biggest questions of the sport.

The discussion: Do you think Creighton is a legitimate Final Four contender?

Jay Bilas: It is certainly possible, but not probable. I do not see Crieghton as a strong contender for a Final Four, and I would have several "off-the-radar" teams ahead of the Bluejays on that contender list. Because Creighton has Doug McDermott, the best college player in the country, and it has the ability to hit 10 or more 3-pointers in a game, it can beat anybody. The Bluejays score with ease with the No. 1-rated offense in the country, and can really spread you out. This team uses the 3-point line more often and better than almost anyone else. But Creighton is not great defensively and does not defend well in the post, diminishing its chances to reach a Final Four.
