1. Layman is going to be real deal
If my gut is correct, Jake Layman (Wrentham, Mass./King Phillip) is going to be the favorite son of this year's Nike EYBL Peach Jam. At last year's Peach Jam, Layman burst onto the scene as a stretch 4-man. He had everyone's attention but for whatever reason didn't truly emerge as a national name. He was good through the first two weeks of EYBL and then exploded in the final session in Los Angeles. Now, it may be time for his next act.
