As the director of player personnel for the NBA Top 100 Camp (the guy who invites the players), I've got a unique behind-the-scenes look and hope to share some stories throughout the event.
1. Freeman earns his way in
Earning an invitation to this camp is hard to do and it works best when it's competitive, so we structure it towards seniors who have the most to gain and prove. Ideally its an experience good players have once, great ones may get twice. Allerik Freeman (Charlotte, N.C./Olympic), a 2013 wing, will get two cracks at the camp.
