1. Reinhardt, USC will never be a pair

On Tuesday night, Super 60 guard Katin Reinhardt (Santa Ana, Calif./Mater Dei) ended his relationship with USC by decommitting from coach Kevin O'Neill's program. According to Reinhardt's father, Ernie, his son made a rushed decision and wants to explore his options. That's certainly within Reinhardt's right to do so and I'd never fault him for backing out. The de-commitment trend in our game is another topic for another day. What I'd like to hit on is the fact that O'Neill told Reinhardt that USC would no longer recruit him. That, even to Reinhardt's family, was a move one can respect.
