After watching a ton of tape, obtaining some actual scouting reports and conferring with coaches who prepared for each of the Final Four teams, I have compiled a rough personnel scouting report. The basic idea behind a personnel report is to give a player as much information as possible on opposing players' tendencies prior to the game, without overloading the information or losing the effectiveness of such a guide.
The following is a trimmed-down version (it might be only one-half its depth) of what each player might hold in his hands as he prepares for Saturday night's showdowns in Indianapolis.
