After watching a ton of tape, obtaining some actual scouting reports, and conferring with coaches who had prepared for each of the Final Four teams, I have compiled a rough personnel scouting report. The idea behind a personnel report is to give players as much information as possible on opponents' tendencies before the game, without overloading the information or losing the effectiveness of such a guide.
The following is a trimmed-down version (it might have only half the depth of a normal one) of what each player might hold in his hands as he prepares for Saturday night's showdowns in Indianapolis.
