Last year, everywhere we went for GameDay was a cold place. So one of the reasons I was excited to have GameDay in Gainesville, Fla., was because it was going to be warm. I was very surprised and disappointed that the highest the temperature got the entire weekend was 55 degrees. I really wanted warm weather!! But despite that, the food, football and atmosphere were fantastic ... and basketball was clearly the highlight!

I'm a huge college football fan and one of my dreams is to see an SEC football game. It looks like the coolest atmosphere and I think SEC football is the best in the country. Florida is supposed to be a highly-ranked team next year in football. Jerry Wetzel, the director of electronic media at Florida, gave me a tour of the football stadium -- The Swamp. It holds 90,000 fans and is considered one of the loudest places to watch a game. The bleachers are right on the field and this is one of the few places where you can't get a field pass because the fans are so close and there is no room. They have the Heisman trophies displayed as you come in to the stadium -- Steve Spurrier, Danny Wuerffel and Tim Tebow. Mr. Wetzel was a great guide as I took in The Swamp and he mentioned that I could call for tickets next season. I put him in my speed dial; he will be getting a call from me in the fall!
