Available PGs worth signing

With the dust starting settle on the 2011 recruiting class along with the plethora of spring evaluation events under way it is easy for many of us to start focusing on the 2012, 2013 and 2014 classes. But, with the number of calls I have gotten from Division I and junior college coaches still looking for players to fill out this year's rosters it reminded me of advice that I heard a long time ago from an old veteran coach when I was just breaking into college coaching.

He said "provided that you are a good evaluator, there is enough talent out there that even if you waited for everyone else to sign their players before you signed yours, you could still find good enough players to win championships with."

That sounded very counter-intuitive to me at the time, but the longer I have been in this business those words ring true. When a player who may have been an after thought or a projected stretch for a team to sign in the late period turns out to be an impact player before his career is over, the coach who took him ends up looking like a wise sage who saw something everyone else missed. With that in mind, I thought it would be interesting to look, by position, at a few players who are still available.
