Michale Kyser to Louisiana Tech

Louisiana Tech coach Michael White may have landed a steal in his first signee of his tenure. Michale Kyser (Lancaster, Texas/Christian Life Center), a long bouncy post player who runs like a deer and brings energy to the floor, has the potential to become an outstanding interior player for the Bulldogs. He originally signed with Lamar, but after a coaching change decided to seek his release and open up the recruiting process. He quickly found out that an athletic 6-foot-9 power forward is a sought after commodity in the late signing period, but chose Louisiana Tech because of the relationship he developed with White. "I am excited about my future at Louisiana Tech and feel blessed that things worked out the way they did," said Kyser. "I know the great tradition of NBA power forwards like [Karl] Malone, [P.J.] Brown and [Paul] Millsap that they have had in Ruston and I hope to help the program get back to its winning ways as soon as possible."
