After bringing in a large and outstanding 2010 recruiting class (No. 18 in the country) that featured skilled players with size, coach Johnny Dawkins and Stanford shifted gears and went into full-fledged stalking mode in order to try and secure the services of 6-foot-1 combo-guard Chasson Randle (Rock island, Ill./ Rock Island).

Randle, who is Stanford's only recruit to date, has been a priority for the Cardinal who were able to attract the Midwest prospect to the West Coast and away from BigTen strong-holds Illinois and Purdue.
