My trip to Las Vegas was my first chance to see ESPNU 100 SG Katin Reinhardt (San Juan Capistrano, Calif./Mater Dei) in person and I was immediately impressed.

I was told going in that Reinhardt had all the tools, but a tendency to try and do too much or settle for his jumper. However, what I found was the exact opposite as Reinhardt kept the game simple and used his versatility to make the defense pick its poison. He got himself into the lane, had a good sense of when to create for himself or find his teammates, and picked his spots with his jumper. The fact that he appeared to be a true combo-guard who was equally capable of playing the 1 or the 2 seemed to be icing on the cake given his size and sturdy frame.

"I'm somebody that can pass, get shots for other people and score as well," he said. "I think I can find other people and create for them as a point guard but then switch off the ball and have that scoring mentality as well."
