Tilton head coach Marcus O'Neil has accumulated plenty of experience dealing with high-major prospects in the last five years. It began with Alex Oriakhi and Jamal Coombs-McDaniel, who were already committed to UConn when they arrived at the New England prep school but were quickly followed by the likes of Gerard Coleman. Not surprisingly, Tilton took home its fourth consecutive NEPSAC title this year, claiming the inaugural AA crown after previously three-peating in class B. However, next year could be their most talented team ever as the team returns a stable of high-major prospects including rising senior Georges Niang and rising junior Nerlens Noel, both of whom I have profiled in this blog in recent weeks.
