Braeden Anderson, DePaul cutting ties

The list of available big men in the Class of 2011 just got one deeper as Braeden Anderson (Calgary, Can./Wilbraham & Monson) is expected to receive his release from DePaul this week. "It's not official yet," said Wilbraham and Monson head coach Chris Sparks. "We have the release, Braeden just has to sign it and send it back in." Anderson made a verbal commitment to DePaul the first week of November and followed a couple of weeks later by signing his national letter of intent. "I think it just came down to the fact that Braeden wanted to be closer to his family in Alberta," Sparks said. "Secondly, they've added a couple more kids since Braeden made his decision and he felt like this might not be the best opportunity anymore."
