George Mason lands first two in 2011

George Mason scored two big commitments this weekend with the additions of three-star prospects SF Vaughn Gray (Elmwood Park, N.J./St. Benedict's) and PG Corey Edwards (Middle Village, N.Y./Christ the King)

Gray was a highly-coveted swingman by many top mid-major programs including Siena, Wichita State and Western Kentucky, while Edwards held other offers from UNLV, Fordham and Hofstra and was also hearing consistently from St. John's.

Edwards and Gray were no strangers to each other and although they didn't plan on taking their official visits together, the result proved to be a positive one for George Mason.
