Rules are Rules: There is simply no excuse for breaking rules, and there is no excuse for dishonesty. So there is no reasonable way to defend the actions of Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl. However, there can be legitimate disagreement over whether the rules in question are appropriate and fair.
