Each game during a season is a snapshot. The season is the big picture. Sometimes the snapshots can distort the big picture. Some got in a rush to draw grand conclusions from the Georgetown-UConn game, but it was only one game. There is still a long way to go, and a lot of important games to be played.
I know many were prepared to purchase tickets for Georgetown to go to Detroit after the UConn game, and the Hoyas may just make it there. But the Hoyas were beaten badly by Pittsburgh and have to play Notre Dame, Syracuse and Duke in the next two weeks. There will be times during this season when you want to crown a team the king and write the same team off in the same week. But it is a process. The best teams will still evaluate themselves and strive to get better (especially while winning). Those teams will have the best chance to reach their potential.
