Some thoughts swirling around my head as we all look forward to this weekend's stellar set of games:
• I have watched a lot of tape of Xavier, and I knew the Musketeers were very good. But after seeing them practice and play, I think I have underrated this team. Although this year's XU squad may not be quite as good as last year's team, this is an outstanding defensive group that makes it really tough on you to score. The Musketeers are not a great shooting team, but Sean Miller has done a great job of enhancing what this team does well. Xavier posts up every position, and it gets to the free throw line more than 30 times a game.
