Fields, Reynolds off to good start

This past weekend at the King James Shooting Stars Classic we witnessed great performances in a variety of age groups, but there were a couple of possible 2011 sleepers from the state of Michigan that could be special. Point guard Anthony Fields (Detroit/Quality Education Academy) and power forward Jalen Reynolds (Livonia, Mich./Stevenson) will have college coaches taking notice if they continue to play at a high level on a consistent basis during the travel circuits. Fields has steadily improved from the fall and in my opinion played himself into the mid-major-plus, high-major-minus recruiting category. The D-One Sports floor general can get his own shot and run the team, but what makes him special is his ability to play with great pace on both ends of the floor and it is contagious.
