Bell becomes Gonzaga's second '11 recruit

Gary Bell Jr., a 6-2 junior out of Kent,Wash./Kentridge, selected Gonzaga over Cal-Berkeley and Washington. UCLA, Arizona, and Arizona State were the others that offered.

"I chose Gonzaga because it was the best fit. They don't have a lot of guards so I could make an early impact."

Bell is a terrific pickup for the Zags as they continue to show that they can recruit with anybody out West. If you remember in December head coach Mark Few and his staff received outstanding news when 2011 national sleeper Kyle Dranginis (Nampa, Idaho) decided to join the Zags program. Dranginis is a skilled combo-guard who should complement Bell's outstanding shooting prowess.
