Samuell gives NEC program backcourt depth

During a week in which most of the headlines are going to the BCS programs, Robert Morris quietly landed a big recruit in the NEC. Lamount Samuell Jr. made a verbal commitment to RMU head coach Mike Rice earlier in the week and signed his letter of intent on Wednesday, the first day of the late signing period. Samuell spent this year at Notre Dame Prep in Massachusetts, but he is a Brooklyn native who previously starred for Boys and Girls. Samuell is a prototypical NYC style guard. He is relentless attacking the rim with his dribble, gets wherever he wants on the court, and create his own shot almost at will.
