The recent emergence of Class of 2011 shooting guard Ben McLemore (St. Louis/ Eskridge) has major college recruiters excited.
"We have had in or heard from Missouri, Kansas, Ohio State, Illinois and Tennessee so far," said Eskridge coach Jeff McCaw, who was a standout point guard at Eskridge.
McCaw took over the head coaching position only 16 weeks ago and moved the 6-foot-5, 185-pound McLemore from the post position, which he played as a freshmen and sophomore, to the perimeter. After working with McLemore on his perimeter skills, he had a tremendous junior season averaging about 27 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and three blocks per game.
