Central Gwinnett is now 29-2 on the season and have punched there ticket to the Georgia 5A final four. Jordan Adams (Lawrenceville, Ga./Central Gwinnett), a 6-foot-4 wing, is a big reason why. The talented sophomore erupted for 32 points and grabbed eight rebounds in his team's 67-60 quarterfinal victory over McEachern, which features Tennessee-bound Trae Golden (Powder Springs, Ga./McEachern). Adams was phenomenal from the start, showing an array of dribbling, passing and shooting skills while leading his team to a halftime lead. He showed his range knocking down five 3-pointers, but he was most impressive in crunch time. He showed the poise of a savvy veteran by scoring 14 points and making all of his free throws in the fourth quarter. He has provided tremendous leadership as a sophomore and is motivated to not let the season end without cutting down the nets.
