NEW YORK -- Kyrie Irving (West Orange, N.J./St. Patrick) was relieved. Clearly the stress of a college decision had weighed on him in recent weeks. Thursday, he pledged to Duke on ESPNU. The stress dissolved and it was time to celebrate. "It started getting to me last month," Irving said of the intense recruiting battle that also involved Kentucky and Texas A&M. "When I visited there (Duke) I knew it was the right place. I like all the coaches and coach K (Mike Krzyzewski) told me where it I fit in the program."
