Harvard coach Tommy Amaker announced his presence to the rest of the Ivy League in a major way when he received a verbal commitment from ESPN Top 150 recruit, 6-10 C Frank Ben-Eze (Arlington, Va.).

In Ben-Eze, the Crimson has a rapidly developing big man who has shown considerable progress on the offensive end of the court. He has a surprisingly reliable jump shot from the perimeter, while continuing to improve his post game. He plays aggressively in the interior, finishing with authority around the basket and rebounding on both ends with a great amount of zeal. Ben-Eze runs the court very well and has long arms that he uses to block and/or alter shots. He plays with an impressive amount of energy when he steps between the lines. With increased strength and muscle, Ben-Eze could develop into a force in the Ivy League for Harvard.
