It's All Wright for Cincinnati

Scratch another top-rated point guard prospect from the 2008 availables list. 6-1 PG Cashmere Wright (Savannah, Ga./Urban Christian Academy) chose Cincinnati over Tennessee and Clemson on Thursday. Wright had made an early commitment to Clemson but changed his mind and re-opened his recruitment in early July.

Wright showed at the Bob Gibbons Evaluation Clinic last April and at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in June that he is an exceptionally quick, up-tempo, high-scoring lead guard. At both of these events, he was instructed to become more of a playmaker. And, from our observations this summer, Wright has vastly improved his leadership and passing skills.
