Brendan Lavender, an in-state 6-4 scoring guard from Mesa Mountain View High School who helped lead his team to back-to-back state championships, recently committed to the Wildcats. Lavender is a late developer to hit the national scene but is a top prospect in the Class of 2008.
He is a skilled, team-oriented wing player, a very good athlete and an accurate shooter. A fundamental guard, Lavender plays with tremendous basketball instincts and an extremely unselfishly.
