Putting XU-Cincy brawl in perspective 
Xavier-Cincinnati is a terrific rivalry. Both schools have enjoyed long and sustained success in college basketball, so the Queen City crosstown showdown has always had a tough, rugged edge to it. While the brawl that ended Saturday's contest was certainly shocking for its violence, it wasn't entirely surprising. What was surprising was what happened after the game ended early and the microphones were turned on.
