The future of the Boston Bruins loads the dishwasher after dinner, takes out the garbage on Fridays and makes the occasional meal. (Pasta and steak are his specialties, though he's actually best at emptying the family fridge.) To the Hyneses of Brookline, Mass. -- Mom, Dad, son and daughter, both college-aged -- Joe Thornton has been the perfect teen angel. He trades stories with Tod, brings stuffed animals to Vanessa, plays with the family dogs and keeps his room, upstairs in the Hynes' large white house, just clean enough. He even took enough time out from PlayStation to earn his high school diploma through a correspondence course.
