The final Elite 11 regional is Saturday morning in Las Vegas, and several quarterbacks worth keeping an eye on will be in attendance. Here are five to watch who could shape the race for top honors at the camp.
Christian Hackenberg (Fork Union, Va./Fork Union Military Academy)
All eyes will be on Hackenberg, a Penn State commit who is the nation's No. 1 quarterback. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound QB is No. 10 in the ESPN 150 and will look to use this Elite 11 regional to make a statement that he belongs in the finals next month. Hackenberg threw for 2,164 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior and led the charge for Penn State's top-15 recruiting class. Chad Kanoff (North Hollywood, Calif./Harvard Westlake)
Vanderbilt has a top-25 recruiting class, and Kanoff is a big reason why. The Commodores' top commitment and No. 11 dual-threat quarterback threw for 2,646 yards and 28 touchdowns as a junior and jumped on the chance to play in the SEC.
