What happened to the franchise player?

From what's being said, 6-foot-7 point guard phenom Shaun Livingston, who last played for Peoria Central High School in Illinois, has the most upside of any player in today's NBA draft and will be starring soon for the Charlotte Bobcats, who have the No. 2 pick, the Chicago Bulls (No. 3), the Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks, Atlanta Hawks or Toronto Raptors.

But don't count on it.

Because the last time I checked, Drew Gooden, the safe pick of the 2002 NBA draft by all-knowing Memphis Grizzlies president Jerry West at No. 4, was about to be traded for the second time in two seasons.
