Tampa Bay Lightning: Tampa Bay captain Dave Andreychuk has one more chance to reach his first Stanley Cup finals, so he's not going to dwell on the Lightning's Game 6 loss. "I think if we had started the year by saying we would have a Game 7 in our building to go to the finals, I think we would have taken it," Andreychuk told the Tampa Tribune.
The war of words has died down between Lightning head coach John Tortorella and Flyers head coach Ken Hitchcock, but Hitchcock had to apologize to Italians for a joke that some misunderstood. Hitchcock had said Tortorella had three strikes against him because "he's Italian, he's from Boston, and he's probably a Red Sox fan."
