RB Tatum Bell, a second-round draft pick last Saturday, wore the number at Oklahoma State and wants to wear it in Denver. Problem is that's John Elway's number. Atlanta Falcons: With the club's roster getting bloated, four players were released Tuesday. The two most notable names were QB Kurt Kittner and LB Keith Newman according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Jonathan Kilgo, a former Georgia punter signed a couple of months ago, and wide receiver John Lewis, who spent most of last season on the practice squad as an undrafted rookie, also were let go.
