How is Scott Rolen doing in the closure department? Paul Hagen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports that it's taken Rolen a long time to let go of his Phillies past, a tumultuous six years that ended two seasons ago with a trade to St. Louis.

Juan Pierre didn't leave his old town under a cloud, but he's found as much happiness in his new home as Rolen has in his. Tracy Ringolsby of the Rocky Mountain News writes that the former Rockies centerfielder is becoming quite well known in South Florida. Pierre seems a little overwhelmed by it all.

David DeJesus has been recalled by the Royals and Bradford Doolittle of the Kansas City Star couldn't be happier. Is another Rookie of the Year trophy headed Kansas City's way?
