San Jose Sharks: By now, San Jose's speed is well known around the NHL. But it's the Sharks' discipline and smarts that go along with the good skating that has helped them take a 2-0 lead on the Colorado Avalanche in the second round.

Colorado Avalanche: Avalanche center Peter Forsberg has points in 13 consecutive playoff games, so it's clear that he can't be stopped. But the rugged Colorado superstar has received more than his share of hooks, hacks and holds to make many wonder whether NHL referees are letting the opposition get away with too much.

Toronto Maple Leafs: Mats Sundin's return from injury gave the Maple Leafs a needed boost in Game 2 against the Flyers, although it wasn't enough in Toronto's 2-1 loss Sunday. When the teams meet again in Toronto for Game 3 Wednesday night, will more of the old Leafs break down?
