Unlike a series between less-familiar opponents, there won't be a feeling-out process before mutual animosity matches the players' intensity in the Maple Leafs-Flyers series, which begins Thursday night at Philadelphia.

Before the puck is dropped for the second-round series, nobody is hiding their feelings about their Eastern Conference rival.

"When we knew we'd be playing Toronto we didn't have to build up a lot of hate because it's already there," Flyers captain Keith Primeau told the Toronto Star.
