St. Louis Blues: Mike Danton's father said the troubled St. Louis Blues forward's problems began ever since agent Dave Frost entered his life at 15. Frost, however, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that the player now accused of being part of a murder-for-hire plot "begged me to get him out of the house."

Detroit Red Wings: Get a load of Curtis Joseph now, Detroit. The Red Wings netminder is 2-0 with a 0.44 goals-against and .977 save percentage. Quite a change from a year ago when he and his teammates were swept in the first round by Anaheim.

Calgary Flames: Rugged defenseman Denis Gauthier's undisclosed injury will probably keep him out of Calgary's biggest game of the year. That gives a chance for seldom-used Steve Montador to make his playoff debut as the Flames face the Vancouver Canucks in Game 7 Monday night.
