San Jose Sharks: While continuing the NHL tradition of not revealing anything about injuries, at least Ron Wilson has a sense of humor about possibly being without Scott Thornton in Game 5 on Thursday night against St. Louis. "He's got a bruised tattoo," Wilson told the San Jose Mercury News. The Sharks also might be without injured Alyn McCauley, who hasn't played since Game 1.

St. Louis Blues: Now in a must-win situation heading into Game 5 at San Jose, the St. Louis Blues are looking to the stars to spark a comeback. The Blues' core of Keith Tkachuk, Pavol Demitra, Chris Pronger and Doug Weight need to step up or else they might be playing their final games together.

Detroit Red Wings: It's an anxious time in Detroit, where the Red Wings face Nashville in Game 5 Thursday night. With the series tied at 2-2, the Red Wings are searching for ways to rediscover their regular-season consistency and the positive results from the first two games of their Western Conference quarterfinals.
