Detroit Tigers: That sound you heard yesterday afternoon was the karma wheel turning on the Tigers. If there is to be a Miracle in Motown, they can't be blowing anymore 5-1 leads. Tom Gage of the Detroit News reports it was the smallest crowd (8,804) in the short history of Comerica Park. On a more positive note, Ugueth Urbina has joined the ballclub. The plan is to use him in middle relief for two or three games until he is ready to close, reports Gage.

Harden

Oakland Athletics: Rich Harden is due back on Thursday and that means bad news for either Justin Duchscherer or Chad Harville. One of those two pitchers will have to be excised in order to make a roster spot for Harden. Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports the A's are hoping to trade one of the pitchers as they are both out of options.
